The company proposed to build a 10.7mile long 24-inch diameter natural gas pipeline in western Warren County and eastern Butler County, generally along Butler-Warren County Road, from State Route 63 to Fields Ertel Road. The line was designed at Class 4 for a MAOP of 720 psi. The public information meeting was held at the Liberty Township Hall in Butler County on February 13, 2001.
The application was submitted on April 18, 2001. The Staff requested further information on the route definition. The Staff Report was issued on October 15, 2001. The Public Hearing and Adjudicatory Hearing were held on October 30, 2001 and November 1, 2001 respectively. The Board approved the project on January 28, 2002. The Applicant requested and amendment to the route, under Case No. 02-3256-GA-BTA. The amendment was approved by the Board on July 7, 2003. The line was put into commercial operation on December 5, 2004.
