DPL Energy has proposed to construct a dual-fuel fired 480 MW electric peaking facility in Auglaize Township, Allen County. The facility will include six GE 7EA combustion turbine generators primarily fueled by natural gas, with No. 2 fuel oil as a secondary fuel.
The application was filed on November 29, 2000. The project was approved on October 29, 2001. On June 17, 2004 DPL Energy, LLC canceled the project.
