A 13 mile 345 kV transmission line is to be built in Portage County. The new line will be constructed entirely within an existing right-of-way owned by the company.
The application was received on February 21, 2000. The Staff Report was issued August 14, 2000. The public hearing was held on August 29, 2000. A second public hearing was held on October 25, 2000 at the Haymaker Room in The Reed Memorial Library, Jenkins Building. The Board certificated the project on November 20, 2000. The first pre-construction conference was held on January 17, 2001.
The transmission line was placed in service on July 22, 2002.
