Troy Energy, LLC (Dominion Energy, Inc.) filed an application on October 28, 1999, for a 600 MW gas turbine peaking facility in Troy Township, Wood County.  The Board certificated the facility on April 17, 2000.  The facility was placed in service on May 1, 2002.  On April 3, 2007, APT Generation, LLC (APT) notified the Board that APT has acquired all of the outstanding membership interests in Troy Energy, LLC.  Troy Energy, LLC has and will continue to exist as a legal entity and the holder of the certificate.  APT is jointly owned by Tenaska Power Fund, L.P., headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska and Warburg Pincus, LLC of New York.
