The project involved construction of a 765/138 kV transmission station in Delaware County with the capacity to install  345 kV  facilities at a later time. This new station has 4 (four) 250 MVA, 765/138 kV single phase transformers (including one spare) and the required 765 kV and 138 kV circuit breakers.

The application was filed July 23, 1999.  The Staff Report was issued on November , 19991.  The Public Hearing was held on November 16, 1999 and the Adjudicatory Hearing was held on November 17, 1999. The Board certificated the project on December 13, 1999.

The Orange Station was energized in May 2001.
