Aquila, Inc. planned to file an application requesting authority to construct a 300 MW simple-cycle electric peaking facility in Muskingum County. Aquila held a public information meeting outlining the proposed project for local area residents on April 24, 2002. Aquila planed to file its application with the Board sometime during the summer of 2002.
On October 4, 2002, Aquila filed a notice with the Board to withdraw its application. Aquilia´s withdrawal notice was approved by the Board and thed case was closed on January 21, 2003.
