This project involves the relocation of approximately 1.07 miles of the Beaver-Carlisle 345 kV Transmission Line.  The affected portion of the existing line is located between Butternut Ridge Road and Oberlin-Elyria Road in New Russia and Carlisle Townships, Lorain County.  The relocation is necessary to accommodate a planned expansion of the Lorain County Landfill, operated by BFI of Ohio.  No new r-o-w will be required for this project.  The application was filed on July 14, 2004 and a supplement to the application was filed on October 18, 2004.  The Board certificated this case on March 14, 2005.  Construction was completed on May 1, 2006.
