CG&E filed separate applications for this electric transmission line (Case No. 05-361-EL-BTX) and a related transmission substation (Case No. 05-360-EL-BSB). This new line, approximately 9 miles in length, would be constructed in Brown and Clermont counties. Both the transmission line and the associated transmission substation projects were approved by the Board on March 20, 2006. Construction was completed in the second quarter of 2008, with operation commencing in mid-June.
