The Applicant proposed to construct approximately 16 miles of 12-inch natural gas transmission pipeline, originating in Bracken County, Kentucky and continuing to a terminus in Bethel, Clermont County, Ohio. The pipeline will be installed under the Ohio River using directional drilling. The Board assumed jurisdiction at the Ohio River, approximately 900 feet west of the intersection of U.S. Route 52 and Neville Spur Road. A significant portion of the pipeline will be installed within existing road right of way. The application was filed May 1, 2006. The public hearing was held on September 26, 2006. The adjudicatory hearing commenced on September 28, 2006, and was continued at the Applicant's request. The Staff filed an addendum to the staff report on March 29, 2007. The Board certificated the application on May 21, 2007. The line was placed into service on November 18, 2008.
