Status: Line began commercial operation on May 28, 2004

ATSI proposed to build a 35-mile 138 kV transmission line from Greenfield Substation to the Beaver Substation.  The Beaver Substation is adjacent to the West Lorain Generating Station.  Public informational meetings were held on March 26 and March 27, 2001, one in Lorain County and one in Erie County.  The application was received July 10, 2001.  The Board certificated this facility on May 20, 2002.  The Applicant filed an amendment to change the engineering design of the structures on the Western Section under Case No. 03-2098-EL-BTA.  The amendment was granted by the Board on December 15, 2003.  Staff is monitoring final restoration activities.
