On February 22, 2008, American Electric Power requested a case number be opened for an application for the Roberts-OSU single circuit 138kv transmission line project. A public informational meeting regarding the proposed facility was held February 28, 2008. The Applicant filed its application on December 30, 2008 and supplemented the application with clarifications on February 6, 2009. The application was found to comply with chapters 4906-01, et seq., of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) February 27, 2009. The proposed project involves the construction of an approximately six mile 138 kV transmission line in Franklin County, Ohio. The Staff Report was filed on June 29, 2009. The local public hearing was held on July 14, 2009 and the adjudicatory hearing took place on July 16, 2009 and July 17, 2009. This facility was approved by the Board on September 21, 2009. An application for rehearing was filed October 20, 2009. This application for rehearing is pending before the Board.
