On April 24, 2009, the Applicant submitted its application for a wind project in Champaign County. The proposed project would consist of 70 wind turbines and related infrastructure. Total generating capacity is estimated at between 125 and 175 MW, depending on final turbine model selected. The Applicant has projected construction activities to commence in mid 2010, with the facility placed in service approximately one year later.
The local public hearing will be held on October 28, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., at the Triad High School Auditeria, 8099 Brush Lake Road, North Lewisburg, OH 43060.
The adjudicatory hearing will be called on October 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Hearing Room 11-F at the office of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215 and continued until November 9, 2009.
