OPSB seeks input from stakeholders and public on administrative rules

The OPSB today announced its plan to launch a review of administrative rules. The review, required once every five years under Ohio law, will include opportunities for stakeholder and public engagement, including informal meetings and workshops, as well as a written comment period.

OPSB suspends procedural schedule for proposed Republic Wind Transmission Line

The OPSB today suspended the procedural schedule in the case regarding Republic Wind, LLC’s proposal to construct an electric transmission line in Seneca County. As a result of the suspension, the local public hearing scheduled for Feb. 26, 2020 in Tiffin, Ohio and the adjudicatory hearing scheduled for March 11, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio are canceled.

OPSB approves construction of Duke Energy pipeline, adopts rules regarding wind turbine incidents

The OPSB today authorized Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. to construct the C314V Central Corridor Pipeline Extension Project along the utility’s revised alternate route in Hamilton County. The OPSB also adopted new rules  that require wind farm operators to notify the OPSB when wind turbine incidents occur and to provide the OPSB with detailed reports regarding such incidents.
