COLUMBUS, OHIO (March 11, 2020) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) today canceled all hearings regarding Firelands Wind, LLC’s proposal to construct the Emerson Creek Wind Farm and electric transmission line in Erie and Huron counties. The hearings, expected to draw large crowds, are being canceled out of an abundance of caution.
The following hearings are canceled:
The Emerson Creek Wind Farm local public hearing and adjudicatory hearing scheduled for March 18, 2020 and April 14, 2020, respectively.
The Emerson Creek electric transmission line local public hearing and adjudicatory hearing schedule for April 6, 2020 and May 5, 2020, respectively.
All hearings will be rescheduled at a later date.
