COLUMBUS, OHIO (May 17, 2017) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a local public hearing to allow the public to express their views about an AEP Ohio Transmission Company (AEP Ohio Transco) proposal to rebuild an electric transmission line in Belmont County. The local public hearing is scheduled as follows:

The proposed West Bellaire-Glencoe 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line rebuild project involves upgrading approximately 6 miles of existing 69 kV transmission line to 69/138 kV in Pultney, Richland, and Smith townships. AEP Ohio Transco states that the project would help ensure the continued reliability of the area transmission system.
An adjudicatory hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 20, 2017, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-C, 180 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
