OPSB schedules hearings for proposed Lucas County power plant
COLUMBUS, OHIO (June 30, 2017) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a hearing to allow the public to express their views about Clean Energy Future-Oregon, LLC’s proposal to construct a new electric generating facility in Lucas County. The local public hearing is scheduled as follows:

The proposed 955 megawatt natural gas-fired facility would be located in Oregon, Ohio. The facility would be fueled by natural gas from one or more pipelines and interconnected to adjacent 138 and 345 kilovolt transmission lines. Clean Energy Future-Oregon proposes to commence construction of the project in early 2018 and begin commercial operation in 2020.
The adjudicatory hearing will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 28, 2017 at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-C, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
