OPSB sets second local public hearing for proposed pipeline in Hamilton County

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Dec. 18, 2018) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) today scheduled an additional local public hearing to provide customers an opportunity to express their views on Duke Energy Ohio’s proposal to construct the C314V Central Corridor Pipeline Extension Project in Hamilton County. The local public hearing is scheduled as follows:

Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 3 p.m.
University of Cincinnati-Blue Ash
9555 Plainfield Rd.
Muntz Hall, Room 119
Blue Ash, Ohio 45236

The OPSB held a local public hearing in Blue Ash, Ohio on June 15, 2017, to gather statements from members of the affected public who are not parties to the case. After the local public hearing, Duke requested to suspend the procedural schedule to further investigate certain site-specific information regarding a property on which environmental remediation has occurred. On April 13, 2018, Duke filed supplemental information that included route adjustments and revisions to its application along with a motion to reestablish the procedural schedule.

The adjudicatory hearing in this proceeding will begin at 10 a.m. on April 9, 2019, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-A, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Additional information regarding the proposed pipeline extension project is available online at www.OPSB.ohio.gov in the record for case number 16-0253-GA-BTX.
