Hardin Wind Energy, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Invenergy, plans to install up to 300 MW of wind generation capacity across 23,000 leased acres in Hardin County. The Applicant may construct up to 200 turbines capable of producing up to 1.6 MW each. The Board issued a certificate for this project on March 22, 2010. The Applicant plans to begin construction in 2011 on Phase 1a of the project. Hardin Wind amended tphase 1a in case number 11-3446-EL-BGA. Construction is on hold until at least 2013.
