The Applicant is proposing to construct a 138 kV transmission line in Delaware County. The Preferred Route is approximately 2.7 miles long, and the Alternate Route is approximately 3.1 miles long. Either line would exit a new substation (see Case Number 11-1313-EL-BSB) and tie in to the existing Trent-Delaware 138 kV line adjacent to the existing AEP Trent Station, in Delaware County. The Applicant filed a pre-application letter for this case on July 26, 2011, and held a public informational meeting on August 18, 2011. The application was filed December 7, 2011. The staff report was filed on April 20, 2012.
