OPSB schedules public hearing for Oregon Clean Energy Center
COLUMBUS, OHIO (Feb. 13, 2013) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a public hearing to provide residents an opportunity to testify about Oregon Clean Energy’s proposal to construct a new natural gas-fired electric generating facility in Oregon, Ohio.

The 799 megawatt (MW) Oregon Clean Energy Center would utilize advanced gas and steam turbine, combined-cycle technology to generate electricity. The proposed location for the facility consists of approximately 30 acres of land on North Lallendorf Road in the city of Oregon.
The adjudicatory hearing in this case will begin on April 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Hearing Room 11-C at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
