AEP Ohio Transco proposes to construct the Buckley Road-Fremont Center Project, also called the Fostoria-Fremont Transmission Line Rebuild Project to rebuild and redesign existing 69 kilovolt (kV) transmission infrastructure in order to improve reliability for customers across the region. The project would upgrade the existing 69 kV line to a 138 kV transmission line.
The project would be approximately 15 miles long and would likely run through Jackson and Liberty townships in Seneca County and Jackson and Ballville townships in Sandusky County. AEP Ohio Transco plans to use primarily steel single pole structures to build the project.
