COLUMBUS, OHIO (December 12, 2013) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a public hearing to provide area residents an opportunity to testify about American Electric Power Transmission Company (AEP)’s proposal to construct the Ebersole Substation in Hancock County.

AEP proposes to construct the Ebersole 138 kV (kilovolt) switching substation with 138 kV to 34.5 kV transformation and associated interconnections on an approximately 67 acre property adjacent to County Road 216 in Hancock County, approximately 1.7 miles northeast of the city of Findlay. The total footprint of the completed substation would be 4 acres.
An adjudicatory hearing will be held on January 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
