COLUMBUS, OHIO (March 5, 2015) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a public hearing to provide area residents an opportunity to testify about American Electric Power Ohio Transmission Company’s (AEP Ohio Transmission) proposal to construct an 138 kilovolt substation in Jefferson County.
The public hearing is scheduled for:
April 7, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.

AEP Ohio Transmission proposes to construct the Gable Substation near the intersection of County Road 17 and County Road 15, southeast of Smithfield, Ohio. Approximately 1.6 acres of land would be utilized for the project.
An adjudicatory hearing will be held on April 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
