OPSB approves Vectren Energy’s Z-167 Pipeline
COLUMBUS, OHIO (March 17, 2014) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) today authorized Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio to reroute the existing Z-167 natural gas pipeline in Vandalia, Ohio.
Construction will relocate the pipeline from underneath the Dayton International Airport to a lower density location, increasing safety for the Vectren employees who service the line. The new 12-inch pipeline will be approximately 6.55 miles long.
Vectren filed an application for this project with the OPSB on Sept. 20, 2013 and filed an amended application on Nov. 15, 2013. The OPSB held a local public hearing in Vandalia on Feb. 10, 2014.
