OPSB schedules hearings for proposed transmission line spanning Noble and Washington counties

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Sept. 12, 2016) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a local hearing to provide the public an opportunity to testify about AEP Ohio Transmission Company’s proposal to construct an electric transmission line between its South Caldwell and Macksburg substations. The proposed 8-mile long 138 kilovolt transmission line would traverse Olive, Jackson, and Jefferson townships in Noble County and Aurelius Township in Washington County. The line is part of a plan to improve electric service reliability in AEP’s southeastern Ohio service area.

The public hearing is scheduled for:

Nov. 2, 2016 at 6 p.m.

The adjudicatory hearing in the case is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Nov. 17, 2016 at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, hearing room 11-D, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
