COLUMBUS, OHIO (April 12, 2017) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a local public hearing to allow the public to express their views about an American Transmission Systems, Incorporated (ATSI) proposal to upgrade electric transmission lines located in Clark County. The local public hearing is scheduled as follows:

The proposed East Springfield-Tangy 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line is an extension of an approximately 5.3 mile loop from the existing transmission line to the expanded Broadview substation. This extension is one of three components of the Springfield Area 138 kV Reinforcement Project. The line is part of a plan to improve electric service efficiency and flexibility in the operation of the transmission system in Clark County.
An adjudicatory hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Jun. 27, 2017, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-D, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
