COLUMBUS, OHIO (Sept. 27, 2017) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a hearing to allow members of the public to express their views about AEP Ohio Transmission Company’s proposal to rebuild an electric transmission line in Belmont County. The local public hearing is scheduled as follows:

The proposed West Bellaire-Glencoe 138 kilovolt (kV) Transmission Line Rebuild Project involves upgrading approximately 6 miles of existing 69 kV transmission line to 69/138 kV in Pultney, Richland and Smith townships. AEP Ohio Transco states that the project would help ensure the continued reliability of the transmission system in the area.
The adjudicatory hearing in this proceeding will begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21, 2017, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Hearing Room 11-D, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
