COLUMBUS, OHIO (Sept. 24, 2014) – The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold two public hearings to gather testimony from area residents about AEP Ohio Transmission Company’s proposal to construct the Biers Run to Circleville Transmission Line Project in Pickaway and Ross counties.

AEP proposes to construct a 138 kilovolt (kV) Transmission Line to connect the Biers Run substation in Chillicothe, Ohio to the Circleville substation in Circleville, Ohio. The proposed transmission line would be constructed using steel poles along a 100-foot wide permanent right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to improve and maintain the quality of electric service and reliability in south central Ohio.
